PRESIDENTIAL Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya says conversations around President Hakainde Hichilema’s chairmanship at IDC could “perhaps” be had once results at the corporation begin to show. On Tuesday, Parliament adopted the Report of the Committee on Parastatal Bodies which recommended, among others, that the Executive should consider removing the office of the President from the Industrial Development Corporation board. And agreeing with this position, Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) said removing the President from the IDC board could shield him from certain scandals.
