COUNCIL of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) general secretary Fr Emmanuel Chikoya says government should be cautious and not rush into de-gazetting forests as they might be passing on environmental problems to future generations. Speaking in Parliament, Friday, Lands and Natural Resources Minister Elijah Muchima said there was a need de-gazette some of Zambia’s forests in order to accommodate the increasing population.
