A COMBINED team of Lusaka City Council Public Health Inspectors, Council Police, State Police and Ministry of Health staff yesterday pounced on illegal alcohol traders in Kabwata Constituency. The operation was in response to the government’s move to ban the sale of alcohol in markets and bus stations. During the operation, assorted beers were seized while 15 liquor licenses were revoked and five premises were closed down for trading in liquor without the required licenses.
