PF presidential aspirant Miles Sampa has applied for leave of the Lusaka High Court to commence contempt proceedings against acting party president Given Lubinda and his secretary general Raphael Nakacinda. Sampa argues that Lubinda appointed Nakacinda as secretary general of the party knowing very well that the court directed that they desist from acting as such. In February this year, High Court Judge Timothy Katenekwa granted Sampa an ex-parte order of interim injunction, restraining Lubinda and Nickson Chilangwa from holding themselves out as acting president and secretary general of the PF until the final determination of Sampa’s suit against them.
