CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says although President Hakainde Hichilema has no problem declaring his assets, there is need to amend the law so that even future Presidents are compelled to do so. Mweetwa says the President has nothing to hide, adding that the only tax payer money he spends is the government fuel he uses when making movements. Earlier this week, US Ambassador to Zambia Michael Gonzales said President Hichilema and Vice-President Mutale Nalumango must declare their assets “today” and do so annually until their term in office expires so that they set an example for all other public servants to emulate.
