THE National Assembly on Wednesday rejected a motion moved by Kanchibiya PF member of parliament Sunday Chanda, urging government to formulate an agriculture policy to minimise maize dependency. Moving his motion, Chanda said there was no specific agriculture policy that comprehensively sought to diversify away from maize.
