CHIKONDI Foundation director Bishop John Mambo says there is no need to reintroduce the Ministry of Religious Affairs because religious matters are being handled well by the Vice President, Mutale Nalumango, who is married to a bishop. On Tuesday, Mpulungu Ministers Fellowship chairperson Allan Mukuni appealed to the government to consider reintroducing the Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs. Rev Mukuni said the clergy in the country felt the department of religious affairs had not been fully supported because it was under the office of the Vice President, which is a busy office.
