CATHOLIC priest Fr Chewe Mukosa’s lawyers, Makebi Zulu Advocates, have indicated that their client will still present himself for police interviews because he hasn’t received official notification of the withdrawal of the callout. But Copperbelt Police Commissioner Peacewell Mweemba says there is no active call-out for Fr Mukosa, as police have received instructions from their headquarters not to proceed with it. On Sunday, the Zambia Police Service advised Fr Mukosa not to report to the Copperbelt Division for questioning, as per the call-out earlier issued to him. The service said after reassessing the situation, it had concluded that there was no need for Fr Mukosa to attend questioning regarding his recent sermon, which was deemed to potentially constitute hate speech....
