UPND youths in Kabwata, led by Constituency Youth Chairman Mike Banda, have lodged a formal complaint with the police against former president Edgar Lungu over his remarks that 2026 may be too far before a change of government. PF faction Information and Publicity Chairperson Emmanuel Mwamba, however, argues that there is nothing wrong with Lungu calling for an early election, saying even President Hakainde Hichilema did the same while he was in opposition.
