MINISTRY of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says Petauke Independent member of parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda, wanted a plea bargain in exchange of the truth regarding his alleged abduction. And Kawana says Banda has actually sent him a message indicating that he did not leak the “altered” recordings which have gone viral on social media, but he gave them to someone for safekeeping. On the other hand, Home Affairs Permanent Secretary Dickson Matembo says those calling for his arrest or resignation must produce facts warranting such a decision.
