MAKEBI Zulu’s law firm, Makebi Zulu Advocates, has withdrawn from representing Bowman Lusambo and his wife, Nancy, in a matter where the pair is charged with possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime. The firm’s lawyer, Emmanuel Phiri, has told Lusaka Magistrate Faides Hamaumdu that the firm was withdrawing from representing the duo on professional grounds. Lusambo and his wife are charged with 10 counts of corrupt acquisition of public property, possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime, tax evasion and conspiracy to fraud.
