CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says lack of a board at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) cannot prevent the institution from fighting corruption. On Tuesday, former Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) chapter president Sampa Kalungu called on President Hakainde Hichilema to expedite the process of appointing a new ACC board, saying the vacuum was harming the institution and raising suspicions about government’s commitment to fighting corruption.
