STATE House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka says people like Constitutional lawyer John Sangwa should desist from creating doubts about the electoral process. Hamasaka emphasises that there is no scheme being “cooked” to manipulate the 2026 general elections. Commenting on Sangwa’s statement that President Hakainde Hichilema had rigged the system because he was determined to win the 2026 elections, Hamasaka dismissed the remarks as baseless allegations. “Those are completely baseless allegations. There’s no such a scheme anywhere that is being cooked to manipulate elections. In fact, I would advise people like him to desist from causing doubts in the electoral process because it has the potential to disrupt the country. So there’s nothing being cooked around by anyone,” he said....
