THE Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) says it has deactivated 49,000 SIM cards used to perpetrate fraud this year. In an interview, Tuesday, ZICTA Public Relations Officer Hanford Chaaba cautioned consumers against engaging in any altercations with scammers, as it could be used against them. “The [deactivation] process has so far been very good.
