NATIONAL Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQEZ) Executive Director Dr Aaron Chansa has expressed disappointment with the announcement by government to recruit 2,000 teachers in the 2025 national budget. In an interview, Sunday, Dr Chansa said recruiting 2000 teachers was an indictment on government, noting that the Minister of Finance gave a different position in his budget presentation from what President Hakainde Hichilema indicated during the opening of the fourth session of parliament. “We are also disappointed that only a few teachers are going to be recruited next year.
