GOVERNANCE Activist Rueben Lifuka says the latest Auditor General’s Report on the Accounts of the Republic is underwhelming as it focuses on too many mundane administrative issues. And Lifuka says President Hakainde Hichilema must take keen interest in controlling officers whose ministries have continued to record poor enforcement of financial regulations. Meanwhile, Lifuka says it is unacceptable that ministries, provinces and agencies failed to utilise funds totalling K2,693,513,302 as highlighted in the latest Auditor General’s report.
