CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says former president Edgar Lungu’s remarks that he wants to retain power so that “naifwe tule ikutako” indicate that he wants to bring back politics of the belly. And Mweetwa says the Tonse Alliance was hurriedly formed because Lungu is in a hurry to assume the role of party president. Mweetwa has also urged Lungu to desist from comparing himself to President Donald Trump, saying people in Zambia will not forget how he and his people brutalised the citizens.
