ECONOMIST Noel Nkhoma says there is nowhere in the world where government provides everything for its citizens, noting that even the world’s largest economy, the United States, has poverty levels. Speaking on Prime TV’s Oxygen of Democracy, Monday, Nkhoma said the “lazy syndrome” should not be encouraged. “This idea of thinking that government will always stand in terms of finding solutions is not feasible in the current fiscal space that the country found itself in.
