FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga says the Copper Queens are among the leading contenders for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAfCON) set for Morocco next year. Last week, Zambia learnt of its opponents for the biggest women football event on the continent. Bruce Mwape’s ladies were pitted in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
