THE State has urged the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court to find former Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba and former foreign affairs minister Joseph Malanji with a case to answer in a matter in which they are charged with wilful failure to comply with laid down procedure and being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime. In its submission on no case or case to answer, the State argued that the prosecution had adduced sufficient evidence to warrant placing Yamba and Malanji on their defence.
