THE Socialist Party has accused UPND of sponsoring resignations of its members. On Monday, five Socialist Party members in the Kabwe structures resigned from the party, citing personal reasons. The five who resigned included district chairperson Joshua Kunda, vice district chairperson Rexina Daka, district chairlady (women’s league) Fosta Malata, Kabwe Central Constituency chairperson Edrick Simbeye and Bwacha Constituency chairperson Chintu Chilumba. But SP National Youth Chairperson Kelvin Kaunda described the resignation as sponsored and said it was a scheme by the UPND to create an impression that it was getting stronger.
