MAINA Soko Medical Centre Commandant Brig Gen Levy Muchemwa has disclosed that an automatic smoke alarm system was triggered at approximately 16:20 hours on Friday, prompting the evacuation of all patients and staff to the fire assembly. He says preliminary findings suggest that the smoke may have been caused by someone smoking outside near the window of the changing room in Building Two. In a statement, Friday, Brig Gen Muchemwa said no fire was detected in any of the buildings.
