FORMER Petauke Central MP Emmanuel Jay Banda has urged residents of his former constituency to vote for the Tonse Alliance candidate, Simon Banda, in today’s parliamentary by-election. The former Petauke Central MP says his heart is still with the people of Petauke, stressing that although his tenure was short, he fulfilled his promises to them. Meanwhile, Kasenengwa PF MP Philimon Twasa and his Lundazi counterpart Brenda Nyirenda broke down in tears yesterday as they campaigned for Simon Banda, urging voters to vote for him, saying his victory would mean Jay Jay’s return is closer.
