THE Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) has urged Zesco to fulfil its promise of supplying seven hours of power, as indicated in its emergency tariff hike application. CUTS says it has noticed inconsistencies regarding the promises from Zesco. In its emergency tariff adjustment proposal to the Energy Regulation Board, Zesco stated that it would ensure seven hours of power supply once approved, a promise it has not honoured.
