LEGENDARY athlete Samuel Matete has called for a change in leadership at Zambia Athletics (ZA) to pave the way for growth and transformation in the sport. Matete, a decorated athlete who won a silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics and gold at the 1991 World Championships in Japan, criticised the long-standing leadership of ZA president Elias Mpondela, who has been at the helm for over 26 years.
