GOVERNMENT has disclosed that it has completely put under control the fall army worm infestation. Last month, government revealed that 125,886 hectares, representing 15 percent of planted land, had been affected by fall army worms. Announcing the infestation in December last year, Ministry of Agriculture Director for Agriculture Dr Chizumba Shepande disclosed that government had purchased about 55,000 litres of army worm chemicals to be distributed to all the provinces.
