THE World Bank Group (WBG) says nearly 700 million people worldwide live in extreme poverty with less than $2.15 per person per day. WBG says robots, AI and digital platforms are affecting the relationship between growth and jobs by creating new tasks, enhancing labour productivity and displacing workers.
