A 33-YEAR-OLD woman allegedly attempted to take her own life and that of her two sons, aged between 10 and 5, by ingesting pesticide in Ndola’s central business district. Copperbelt Police Commissioner Peacewell Mweemba disclosed that the incident occurred behind Darling Shop on March 5, 2025, at around 08:00 hours. He said a passersby discovered the trio lying on the ground, vomiting uncontrollably, with a pesticide bottle and drinks nearby.
