A TEACHER of Mkushi, in Central Province, has been convicted and committed to the High Court for sentencing after being found guilty of sexually abusing and impregnating his 13-year-old pupil, who is also his niece. Mkushi Resident Magistrate Bright Simukoko convicted Handsome Machala, a teacher at Twikatane Community School in Mkushi, for defiling his pupil, who later had a miscarriage, leading to the discovery of the sexual abuse.
