THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, that Bowman Lusambo has not demonstrated that his legitimate legal income is commensurate with properties linked to him. ACC Investigations Officer Mulenga Mulenga has insisted that the court forfeit to the state five properties belonging to Lusambo and his wife, Nancy. In his affidavit in support of the motion, Mulenga told the court that Lusambo’s total income is K6,144,858.19, against a market value of K22,800,000 for his properties. In this matter, ACC has cited Lusambo, Nancy, Mukuka Munkonge and ZDA-Henan Guoji Development Company Limited as respondents.
