ENERGY Minister Makozo Chikote says all major energy initiatives are on course and progressing according to plan, contrary to political speculation. In a statement, Wednesday, Chikote said the expansion of Maamba Energy phase two, which would add 300 megawatts to the current capacity, was progressing well. “The Batoka Gorge Hydro Power Project, a flagship regional undertaking between the Republics of Zambia and Zimbabwe, is being coordinated through the Zambezi River Authority (ZRA).
