PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has led national tributes following the passing of Zambia’s sixth president, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, who died yesterday morning. Lungu, the last surviving former president of Zambia, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, around 06:00 hours at Medforum Hospital in Pretoria, where he had been receiving specialised treatment.
