THE Christian Churches Monitoring Group (CCMG) has challenged ECZ to demonstrate to the public that the initial dates for the Mfuwe by-election were not conducive for holding free, fair and credible elections. On Tuesday, ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro announced the postponement of the Mfuwe parliamentary by-election to August 7, 2025. He stated that the commission had revised the date following stakeholder feedback, in line with its commitment to conducting inclusive electoral processes.
