A FORENSIC audit into alleged drug pilferage has revealed that ZAMMSA awarded Mukushi Business Ventures a K16.1 million contract for ‘mop up’ medical supplies, despite the company not being ZAMRA-registered. The forensic audit has further revealed that Mukushi only started delivering on their contract in May 2023, a month after the expiry of their delivery period. The findings are from a PwC forensic audit into alleged drug pilferage, specifically concerning drugs procured using funds from USAID and other cooperating partners, covering January 2023 to July 2024.
