PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema will today sign into law the Free Education Bill. President Hichilema will also sign into law four other Bills, including the National Pension Scheme Bill. The Education Amendment Bill, which will legislate Free Education, was one of the 77 Bills that were tabled before the National Assembly and debated over a nine-day period. One of the most notable Bills among the 77, which was passed and is awaiting presidential assent, is the Public Gatherings Bill, which seeks to regulate the conduct of public gatherings for the ‘preservation’ of public order and public safety.
