PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says Zambia is ready for investments from China. Speaking when a Chinese delegation paid him a courtesy call, Wednesday, President Hichilema said he hoped the meeting would lead to tangible transactions, opportunities and investments for the two countries. The Head of State added that Zambia and China had an excellent bilateral relationship. “We want to start by indicating that Zambia and China have had an excellent bilateral relationship. And we, in 2023 upgraded our relationship to a comprehensive, corporative and strategic partnership which we signed off with the President Xi Jinping and myself and [the] two governments during our visit in China.
