INCARCERATED former Lusaka Province minister Bowman Lusambo has opposed the state’s application to forfeit his properties in Lusaka’s Chamba Valley area, following his conviction. Earlier this month, Lusambo was sentenced to three years imprisonment with hard labour on two counts of being in possession of property established to be proceeds of crime. The conviction prompted prosecutors to seek an order for forfeiture upon conviction, citing the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act.
