FORMER Kasenengwa member of parliament Sensio Banda is claiming that only 57 percent of the country’s debt has been restructured. Banda argues that the assertion by government that 94 percent of the debt has been restructured is flawed. On Monday, Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane said 94 percent of Zambia’s debt had been restructured. He noted that all the negotiations have been undertaken and agreed upon; therefore, government is only waiting for a legal document.
