JUDGEMENT in the matter where Livingstone Mayor Constance Nalishebo Muleabai is accused of corruption involving K180,000 has been adjourned to January 19, 2026, due to the absence of presiding Magistrate Trevor Kasanda. After the adjournment of the case by Livingstone Resident Magistrate Kalifano Manyepa, Muleabai’s supporters protested outside the court, accusing the court of trying to “mentally punish” her. Muleabai, 49, is facing two counts of corrupt practices with a private body, contrary to Section 20(1) as read with Section 41(a) of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012.
