THE Ministry of Education has directed all private schools that opened on January 5, to immediately close and re-open on January 12, in line with the official school calendar. In a statement, Thursday, Ministry Permanent Secretary Education Services Dr Kelvin Mambwe said the action to open schools on January 5, by private institutions showed disregard to the Ministry’s directives.
