ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro has explained that the proposal to remove the official stamp from ballot papers will not affect their security features. Kasaro adds that once the Commission announces the newly delimitated boundaries, the law provides that citizens can challenge the outcome of the delimitation process in the Constitutional Court before general elections. Asked on KBN TV to clarify the ‘official mark’ debate, Kasaro said ballot papers have security features that cannot be tampered with.
