THE International Drug Company (IDC) has invested about $10 million in its expansion project, including the development of new plants designed to meet the standards of the World Health Organisation. And government has described the investment as an important additional investment that is expected to create jobs, introduce new skills and foster innovation within the pharmaceutical industry. IDC General Manager Altaf Patel says once completed; the facility will provide about 1,000 jobs.
