THE National Assembly has disclosed that a fire incident occurred at its studio around 03:00 hours, resulting in significant damage to equipment and infrastructure. In a statement, Saturday, Acting Clerk of the National Assembly Loveness Mayaka said that upon detection of the incident, security personnel on duty immediately alerted the Lusaka City Fire Brigade, which responded promptly and managed to contain the fire.
