AGRICULTURE Minister Mtolo Phiri says some “crooks” within the ministry are seeking to benefit from fertiliser distribution under the FISP programme this season. He adds that government is modernising farmer support under FISP by rolling out the cost-effective e-voucher system to all 116 districts in the 2025-2026 farming season. His response came after Pemba UPND MP Lameck Hamwaata asked in a supplementary question whether government had arrested any camp officers found mismanaging FISP and whether they had been prosecuted.
