THROUGH the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), Bahati constituency in Luapula Province has received a K5.2 million Senama market, a project aimed at providing a safe, clean and organised trading environment for marketeers. Trader Lotson Bwacha, who has been trading at Senama for 45 years, has expressed gratitude to government, noting that the new market is the first of its kind in the area and has restored dignity among traders. Constructed at a cost of K5,267,968.92 under the 2025 CDF, the market has 180 trading stands, an ablution block and an administrative block with two offices and a council police unit.
