THE investigation that has been uncovered at Nyimba East Primary School is a deeply disturbing revelation. Poor pupils in a rural area are being made to pay K20 in order to access porridge under a government school feeding programme that is supposed to be free. That is a serious contradiction that goes against a policy meant to fight hunger, improve attendance and keep vulnerable children in school.
