POLITICAL analyst Dr Neo Simutanyi says MPs who have decided to abandon their current constituencies for others may have realised that they are unpopular and fear competition. Dr Simutanyi adds that some MPs who have opted not to re-contest their seats in the August 13 election have been offered positions. On Tuesday, Matero PF MP Miles Sampa announced that he would not contest the Matero seat but would instead run for election in the Chawama or Lima constituencies.
