LUKULU Town Council has disbursed K2.7 million under the 2026 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Youth, Women and Community Empowerment Grants to 259 clubs and cooperatives in the district. The local authority says the grants are expected to benefit more than 2,590 people, with each club comprising an average of between 10 and 20 members. According to Lukulu Town Council Public Relations Officer Rabecca Mushibi, the latest disbursement brings the total number of clubs and cooperatives that have benefited from CDF grants since 2022 to 844.
