THE Food Reserve Agency (FRA) says paying farmers within three days is achievable and will be the new standard following the clearing over K3.2 million to farmers in just 24 hours. In an interview, Friday, FRA Board Chairperson Suresh Desai said while the first day’s payments were done in 24 hours, the realistic target going forward was a maximum of three days. He stressed that the days of prolonged delays were over.
