A 16-year-old girl has been admitted to Livingstone University Teaching Hospital, after she was allegedly poisoned and raped by unknown people. Preliminary investigations reveal that around 22:00 hours, the juveniles mother went outside the house and found the juvenile appearing very weak, and upon inspection, she noticed the girl had no underwear and her trousers were found turned inside out. Police say the matter was reported on August 19 at 14:00 hours by the juvenile’s mother, who reported that she suspected her daughter to have been poisoned and sexually assaulted by unknown persons.
